Hoo doggie, passin thru taking a yacht to the gulf, docked nearby and stopped in. Greeted by friendly folk, me and crew ordered. Oysters and fish were awesome, great portions. Everyone was very happy. Got turned on to Crystal Xtra Hot pepper sauce, very awesome.

First they open at 11am not 10am.It was exellent! I made a to-go order after work on Friday, after some co-workers gave them 2 thumbs up from the day before.I got beef and shrimp yaka mein, fried shrimp plate with fries. And when I got there I saw a beautiful big piece of carrots cake under glass. Looked homemade, so I figured I'd try it.It's is not cheap food and it should not be. The quality and quantity matches the moderate pricing. Large portions of fresh food cooked to order.EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!I'm sorry I didn't take pictures. I will next time and will add them to this review. I plan on getting food from them again this coming Friday. That lil bar room has great food. I can't wait to try the whole menu while I'm working in Reserve, LA.Update: 5/24/2024Ordered surf and turf potato, yaka mein (all 3 kinds), shrimp, and fries, & sausage link poboy (hot) with fries.I did the food run for the co-workers

Yaba’s Cafe was amazing! We were on the hunt for Yakamein soup, and wow, did we hit the jackpot! We dove into the combination Yakamein, chargrilled oysters, pig feet, pork bones, and boiled shrimp, and every single bite was out of this world! We were beyond thrilled with our picks and can’t wait to come back when we’re in town again. Big thanks to Moody for the awesome service!!

I have been a few times while working in Reserve. Has yet to disappoint. The Philly Cheesesteak is awesome and the wings are great too! Food did not take long to come out. Have yet to try anything different after eating these two items.
